Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This notice explains how I, Lelani Loubser, look after the personal information you share when you use this website, including when you book a free health support call. I take your privacy seriously, particularly because the information you choose to tell me about your health is sensitive.

Who I am

I am Lelani Loubser, a Nutritional Therapist, Naturopath and Herbalist practising in London and online. For the purposes of UK data protection law I am the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact me about anything in this notice at info@lelaniloubser.com.

What I collect and why

When you book a free health support call, the form asks for your name, your email address and, if you choose to tell me, the health concerns you would like to discuss. I use this only to reply to you, arrange the call and prepare for it.

Information about your health is “special category” data. I only process it because you give your explicit consent by ticking the consent box on the form (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(a)), and I process your name and email address on the basis of that consent too (Article 6(1)(a)). Please share only what you are comfortable sharing; you can tell me more during the call instead.

When you email or phone me, I use what you send to respond to you.

When you visit the website, the hosting platform keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. This is in my legitimate interest in running a safe website (Article 6(1)(f)). I do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

If you go on to become a client, I will give you a separate privacy notice that covers your consultation and health records.

Who can see your information

I do not sell or share your information for marketing. It is handled on my behalf by a small number of service providers, under contracts that require them to keep it secure and use it only on my instructions:

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where that happens it is protected by UK-approved safeguards, such as the UK-US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for up to 12 months after we were last in touch, and then delete them, unless you become a client (in which case the client privacy notice applies). Website security logs are kept for no more than 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it or restrict how I use it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time by emailing me; this does not affect anything I did with your information before you withdrew it. I will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please contact me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work securely, such as those that keep the site’s administrators signed in. It does not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so you will not see a cookie banner.

Changes to this notice

If I change how I use your information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
